Iraq: War and Reconstruction

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has reports and testimonies related to the Iraq war and reconstruction issued since January 2002. The GAO is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. GAO is often called the "congressional watchdog" because it investigates how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars.
